Menlo Park is the oldest residential district in Tucson, Arizona, located in the neighborhoods surrounding the base of Sentinel Peak, “A Mountain”, or “the black mountain”. Menlo Park holds some of Tucson’s deepest history and longest running generations of residents. It is also home to the modest Menlo Mud studios (aka, the repurposed shed in my backyard). Each piece from Menlo Mud is made in that studio at the base of Sentinel Peak, and carries some of that history with it. It is an honor to represent such a special community.
